The one good thing...

... about the -10 degree temperatures we are "enjoying" is that it makes the snow for x/c skiing really, really fast.

Now if it were only warm enough to go out and ski...

Are you in that picture? OK minues 10 is not fun for any thing but staying inside by the fire under a blanket with a nice glass of red wine and your sweetie next to you. We are awaiting 2-3 NCHES of snow HOPING for a delay or even a school closing!!! How sad is that?

I have been watching the world cup X/c races on the sports channel. Really feel like trying to do give it crack.

But it is supposed to below zero in the windy city as well.

I got out today-but the snow was too thick- of course I've just been practicing in our ball park. Call me if you want to hit Baker in the next couple weeks. I need to learn. :-) But I love skiing!

I sooooooooo much what to try that x/c thing you rave about. Send some snow, a pair of them skinny boards, and them long sticks to Dallas, OK?

Stay tuned...
